First Aid Kits For The Workplace

By Risk

At OHEAP Fire and Security, our experts will help you understand what different risks may be present in your workplace and industry, ensuring you are covered for any kind of emergency.

Compliant Kits

Our first aid kits have been pieced together by HSE experts and comply with relevant standards for your industry, environment, or first aid kit type.

More Than Kits

Whilst first aid kits are a must for any operating business, other items such as first aid furniture, sharps bins, and defibrillators, may also be required due to the size of the business or type of industry.

A Workplace Must

Under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, it is a requirement to provide adequate first aid equipment in the workplace, whether in an office environment, catering industry, or engineering workshop.

First Aid Equipment For Your Industry

Based on a first aid needs assessment, it is important for you to consider the different types of hazards in each of your workplace locations and ensure they are catered for with appropriate first aid kit supplies. Certain environments may require a standard first aid box mounted to a wall, whilst others may require a cabinet or a dedicated room.

What Is The Health and Safety Regulations 1981 Act?

The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. These Regulations apply to all workplaces, including those with less than five employees and to the self-employed.

What is a bleed kit?

A bleed kit is an emergency first aid kit designed to reduce bleeding during such injuries that have caused catastrophic blood loss. They are often found alongside public access defibrillators (AEDs).

    What our clients think
“I have worked with Jack for 12 months. He is always helpful with any queries and tries to deal with them in a good time. He is helpful and has kept our costs down. I would like to thank him for his help, especially as I was new to our business when I met him, and he has helped me to get everything in place”
