At OHEAP Fire and Security, we are committed to playing our part in reducing our impact on the environment every year.
We have a multi-faceted approach which sees every element of our business finely tuned to reduce waste and increase sustainability.
Whether that is with lights on sensors that turn off when they stop detecting movement, a substantial recycling programme or vehicle tracking software that allows us to maximise trip efficiencies.
As a further commitment to our corporate social responsibility and our culture of sustainability and environmental protection, we are ISO 14001 accredited.
Our Products
OHEAP Fire and Security are helping to lead the way when it comes to environmentally friendly fire protection innovations. We offer a range of fire and security products that have been specifically designed and manufactured to reduce their impact on the environment, whilst maintaining the high standard required to keep people and businesses safe.
We also look to sustainably source our extinguishers and fire protection products, alongside our security systems from suppliers that have the same level of commitment to environmental issues as we do. Whether that is through sourcing products from UK-based manufacturers to reduce supply miles, using recycled materials for casings and packaging, or utilising dispersal technology to reduce the amount of extinguishing agent required to tackle the same fire.
Our Services
OHEAP Fire and Security do more than simply supply products to protect businesses. We also service fire extinguishers, fire doors, security systems, provide safety training and so much more!
These services have all been scrutinised to see where carbon emissions can be reduced.
When we’re onsite servicing fire extinguishers, we will always look to conduct a discharge test and recommission a fire extinguisher, rather than simply replace it due to age. This reduces waste and increases value for the customer. Reducing waste is a central mindset in every service we provide.
When we have finished onsite with a customer, we remove all waste completely, ensuring everything possible is recycled or upcycled, and when this is not possible, we dispose of it responsibly.
We also carry out our safety training online wherever possible to keep travel to a minimum.

✅ Part of the Community
The team at OHEAP Fire and Security are all members of the local community. This means anything that affects the local community also affects us. This is why we take such a keen role in supporting where we can.
✅ DIY SOS The Big Build for Children in Need
A great recent example of this is our involvement with the recent DIY SOS Big Build for Children in Need.
We supported this project by providing free PPE equipment to all the local trades that selflessly gave their time for free to help build a new facility at the Treetops Children Hospice in Risley, Derbyshire.
✅ Other Charity Events
Other local charity events we have also supported recently include sponsoring local participants of the Race The Sun in Keswick event in aid of Action Events – a charity which raises money and awareness for Action Medical Research for Children.
✅ Fire Safety in the Community
We also ensure organisations, which are crucial pillars of support for our local communities, are fully protected against fire and intruders and are safe to carry out the vital work they do.
