FireShield Automatic Clean Agent Fire Extinguisher

The FireShield Automatic Clean Agent Fire Extinguisher is intended for enclosed spaces where a fire may develop without anyone present to respond. Common applications include engine compartments on boats, commercial vehicles and other machinery, where automatic fire protection can help limit fire damage before it spreads.

Each extinguisher is fitted with a heat-sensitive element that activates automatically when the surrounding temperature reaches 79°C. Once triggered, the clean agent is released into the protected compartment to suppress the fire. The extinguishing agent leaves no residue after discharge, making this type of extinguisher suitable for areas containing sensitive electrical equipment, electronic systems and other valuable assets where clean-up following activation is an important consideration.

The extinguisher provides protection against Class B and Class C fires and is also suitable for use on fires involving live electrical equipment. A durable steel cylinder with a corrosion-resistant finish helps withstand demanding operating environments while supporting a long service life.

For the intended level of protection, one automatic extinguisher should be installed within each individual compartment. The correct model is selected according to the volume of the space being protected.
