Firechief Flamezorb Spill Absorbent is a lightweight absorbent supplied in a 10-litre bag for dealing with liquid spillages and filling compatible fire buckets. Unlike traditional forecourt sand, Flamezorb uses specially coated granules that absorb liquids while providing flame-retardant properties. The contents of a single bag will fill one standard 10-litre fire bucket, despite the bag weighing less than 3.46kg, making it easier to carry, store and handle when compared with conventional sand. The material has been tested to EN 13501-1 for reaction to fire.
Flamezorb is suitable for workshops, warehouses, garages, transport depots and other workplaces where oils, fuels or other liquid spillages may occur. It can also be used to replenish existing fire buckets or prepare new spill response points.
