FireChief Fire Sand

Firechief Fire Sand is supplied in a 12.5kg bag for use with compatible fire buckets and spill response points. The bag contains dry yellow sand, which can be used to fill a standard 10-litre fire bucket or replace sand that has already been used.

Fire sand is a simple but useful item to keep in areas where liquid spillages may occur, such as workshops, garages, warehouses, forecourts and industrial sites. It can be poured over certain spillages to help absorb the liquid and make the area easier to deal with. When kept in a fire bucket, it also provides a readily available material for use as part of a basic fire safety point.

One 12.5kg bag is enough to fill a 10-litre fire bucket. It is supplied ready to use, with no mixing or preparation needed. This makes it a practical option for topping up existing fire buckets, replacing old sand or setting up a new fire point in a workplace.
